Private Lessons
Training Services & Rates
Initial Consultation (90 minutes): $75
*consultation is required before any training can take place
Individual Private Session (90 minutes): $110
*additional dog can be included in lessons for half price per dog
5 Session Package (5 90 minute sessions): $500
This will cover all the basics to get you on the right path for building a solid foundation, establishing a clear communication system, basic commands (sit, down, come, heel, place), loose leash walking and heel, recall, e-collar conditioning as well as one public exposure outing. E-collar is a requirement for training with Conversant Canine. Training collar from E-collar Technologies only (mini educator suggested) is required. E-collar not included.

Additional Lessons (90 minutes): $100
For clients who have completed a 5 session package and would like to continue with further lessons for specific issues

Travel Fee: per appointment (lesson or consultation)
There is no mileage charge for clients within a 20 mile radius of Conversant Canine in Brownfield, ME - see below for additional mileage fees up to 40 miles away:
Up to 20 miles: no extra charge
20.1-25 miles: $10
25.1-30 miles: $20
30.1-35 miles: $40
35.1-40 miles: $65
The option to meet at a central location is also available for Private Lessons (during Spring, Summer and Fall only) - location to be determined by Conversant Canine
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT 1:1 PRIVATE LESSONS:
One on one private lessons will require the owner(s) to be very heavily involved. This service is for a hands-on owner who is dedicated to learning the skills necessary to teach and train their dogs. In these lessons, I will be teaching and explaining different techniques and methods and showing you how to properly apply them to achieve the desired results. Owners will be required to conduct regular daily training sessions on their own time in addition to lessons.
